Help educate MV voters about Free Staters and the Liberty Alliance
Katy Cutshall, HCDC Chair has asked for our help:
Several years ago, Granite State Matters (GSM), run by Jeanne Dietsch, sent over 100,000 postcards around the state informing folks about the Free State Project.
This is another round targeting: 13,000 households with undeclared voters in New Boston, Lyndeborough, Mont Vernon, Milford, Bedford, and Merrimack. Including 477 Mont Vernon addresses.
Volunteers will write a brief message on the preprinted postcards between October 17th and October 31st.
Postcards are here - We need 4 more MV volunteers!
Postcard postage is 61 cents per card. Packets are 30 cards. $18.30 in postage covers one set of 30 cards.

By Thursday, October 23rd: Call or email members of the Senate Election Law Committee and urge them to vote NO on SB 223.
The Senate Election Law Committee is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 23rd at 1:30PM to discuss bills it re-referred this past spring, including SB 223, which seeks to remove college and ID cards from the list of valid photo identification for obtaining a ballot. Everyone who is 18, a U.S. citizen, and lives in New Hampshire has the right to vote, and they need to show proof of identity. By singling out college IDs, this bill makes it harder for students to vote. Eligible voters could be turned away just because they don’t have the “right” document.
SB223 also directs the State College and University System and Community College System to provide in-state tuition to every student who registers to vote in New Hampshire. Voting rules and in-state tuition rules are two entirely separate standards. This bill would result in an “indeterminable decrease” in tuition, according to the fiscal note.
Click here to send an email to the Senate Election Law Committee asking that they vote NO on SB 223.

By October 30, 2025 - Stop HB639 a bad crypto mining bill to protect NH quality of life
Call or email NH Senators Innis, Ricciardi, Reardon and Fenton:
Sample script: Hi Senator, My name is ___ and I live in ___, NH. I am concerned that HB639 will give more power to out-of-state cryptomining businesses than it will give to me and my NH neighbors. This is wrong and we need more local control over these risky enterprises.

Government Shutdown - Please Sign the Petition if you missed it last week!
President Trump and Republicans in Congress shut down the government, pushing a partisan spending bill that will increase Americans' health care costs.
Action: Sign this petition to tell Republican leaders in Congress to reopen the government by passing a funding bill that reverses health care cuts, keeps hospitals open, and lowers costs.
