Town and School Board elections are coming up March 14th. No one is yet registered to run for these open positions:

• MV School Board Clerk

• MV School Board Treasurer

• SAU 39 Coop School Board Member from Mont Vernon (for the Middle School and Souhegan from Mont Vernon)

Candidate registration closes THIS Friday Feb 3 at 5pm. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact me directly.

If we leave a position without a candidate on the ballot, then just two or three write-ins on election day can win! The Free State project has used this strategy to gain outsized influence in other small towns. If you love public schools — and especially OUR public schools — please help us all preserve and support our children, our teachers, our parents, and our very special community!
